Lincoln Highway Association: 11th Annual Conference - Ft. Wayne, IN - June 10-14, 2003

The Lincoln Highway Association will hold its national conference at the GuestHouse, located at 1313 W. Washington Center Road, Ft. Wayne, from June 10-14, 2003. Conference attendees will enjoy historic tours across Indiana's original and more recent routes of the nation's historic highway, tours to historic Van Wert, Ohio, and a tour of the Lincoln Highway through Allen County, Indiana.

Conference attendees will visit the auto and truck museums in Auburn. One full day of the conference will feature presentations on topics relating to the history and preservation of the Lincoln Highway and a report on the recent National Park Service Study. Pete Davies, author of The American Road, will be the keynote on Thursday, June 12. An auto parade is being planned for June 13.

Conference Volunteers

Interested in volunteering at the Lincoln Highway Association conference? Volunteers will be needed June 10-14 to assist with activities like conference registration, bus tours, the book vendor room, and registering autos for the auto parade.
