Lothson’s Karry-Out, which specializes in fried chicken, has been in business in DeKalb, Illinois since 1949. It has been at its current location along the Lincoln Highway since around 1957.

I remember going here as a kid – without a doubt the best fried chicken within 100 miles of Chicago! I still make occassional trips out to DeKalb just to get my Lothson’s fix.
