Tickets for a tour of the Lincoln Highway through the Illinois communities of Plainfield, Oswego, and Aurora on Saturday, May 19 are now available.
The Lincoln Highway Experience in Latrobe, Pennsylvania will a host a presentation by Richard Stoner on his Lincoln Highway photographs, on Sunday, May 6 at 2 PM. Reservations are recommended.
The Indiana Lincoln Highway Association invites the general public to a dedication of Indiana’s newest Lincoln Highway Byway interpretive kiosk on Saturday, May 5 at 9:00 a.m. Central Time (dedication ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. Central Time) in La Porte, Indiana.
The Illinois Lincoln Highway Coalition will install a Lincoln Highway mural in New Lenox, Illinois on the northwest corner of U.S. 30 and Cedar Road.
Bobby Tomaszewski, a Boy Scout from Geneva, Illinois, is looking to raise $1,000 to renovate the Lincoln Highway gazebo in downtown Geneva. He will become an Eagle Scout on completion of the project.

There will be a tour of Lincoln Highway auto courts along West Capitol Avenue, West Sacramento Historical Society, 1925 Sacramento Northern railroad underpass, Tower Court with a Lincoln Highway concrete marker, and Tule Jake Road.

The owner of the Pure Oil gas station building in Geneva, Illinois is appealing a ruling by the city’s Historic Preservation Commission, which denied him permission to tear down the building to put in drive-through lanes for a bank. The city council meets to discuss the matter on March 26.
Opponents of the demolition have put up a petition online asking the mayor and city council to save the building.
