Salvaging artifacts from a burned tavern
A contractor is salvaging historic artifacts from the remains of the Hollow Tavern in Unity, Pennsylvania, destroyed in a fire. The tavern will be rebuilt to its 1939 construction appearance.

Motor scooter riders finish their Lincoln Highway trek in Times Square
Bob Chase and Bernard "Buddy" Rosenbaum have finished their cross-country trip across the Lincoln Highway on their Piaggio MP3 scooters. One of their goals was to raise awareness for the Lincoln Highway.
