Our journey across the United States, as seen through the eyes of the postcard photographer is nearing an end. With this issue, George Clark's article will show scenes along the Lincoln Highway in the states of Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming, Utah, and Nevada. This postcard trip will end with the April 2002 issue as we visit the states of Nevada and California.
Thanks to chapter member, George Clark, readers of The Traveler have an exclusive opportunity to read a firsthand account of the fire that destroyed the unique "Ship Hotel" located in Pennsylvania. This famous Lincoln Highway landmark was located near Schellsburg, Pennsylvania. George obtained a copy of the Gazette, a newspaper published in nearby Bedford, Pennsylvania.
